Dear Family Text

Your child has just finished a group of stories about God’s never-ending love for creation, which ended with the story of Noah and his family being saved in the ark. During the next six weeks, we will discover how God grows his family again: starting with the tower of Babel, followed by stories of God’s faithfulness to Abraham and Sarah, and ending with God blessing Jacob with a family and flocks.

We trust you’ve become familiar with the Show and Share papers your child brings home. They are wonderful tools to reinforce at home the things your child has learned in our group. Do ask your child to share it with you. These papers provide stories and activities for the family to enjoy together.

You’ll also see that the Memory Challenge text that we are learning is listed at the bottom of the page on each Show and Share paper. It would be great for your whole family to learn the text with your child. Doing so enables your family to focus together on the importance of God’s Word. The text for this unit is a blessing. Your family will enjoy giving this blessing to each other as the day begins and also at night, just before bedtime.

Please pray with me that the Holy Spirit will use Dwell materials—along with your leading and mine—to lead your child and classmates into a life of vibrant faith!
