We’re about to begin another exciting six-session unit—this new series of lessons is called “Imagine . . . Working for God,” and it invites us to dwell in God’s story as we learn more about how Jesus’ great power and love changed Paul from an enemy into a friend—one who spent the rest of his life sharing the good news about Jesus with others. We’ll be hearing stories about Paul’s conversion and his passion for the gospel, despite constant persecution and imprisonment.
Each week your child will bring home a Show and Share paper that includes a chapter of Paul’s story. Your child will be looking for someone to share it with—and you’ll enjoy being one of those people. By retelling the story your child will remember it—and you’ll find new ways to share Jesus’ love together.
Our Memory Challenge comes from the story of Paul and Silas in prison—it’s Paul’s answer to the jailer’s question: “What must I do to be saved?” (see Acts 16:31). One of the ways we’ll be learning it is by singing the song “Believe in the Lord.” It’s available on the Leader Support page of DwellCurriculum.org where you can order the DwellSongs 2 CD or download individual songs if you’d like to sing it with your child.
Please pray for us as we learn what it means to share Jesus’ love with other people. And, if you have any questions or want to learn more about this new unit, please be in touch.
